The Venue
The Conference is being held at the University of Derby’s Kedleston Road campus.
The University of Derby
As you enter the doors at the University of Derby you will be amazed at the size of the Atrium. It is light and airy, with a glass and steel structure that forms the heart of the University. The Atrium is situated next to the conference and meeting area, which makes the facilities easily accessible to visitors. The meeting rooms have space for groups of between 5 to 100 people and can be set out in a variety of layout styles depending upon the nature of the conference. Each room also has up-to-date equipment such as audio visual facilities.
The University of Derby has over 23,000 students including those on e-learning courses. Students come from all over the world, which makes it a vibrant place for those studying here. There are several shops and restaurants on site, providing a a mixture of goods; from study books and notepads to snacks and refreshments. And don’t worry if you forget to take out cash before arriving, the university has two cash machines on site.
Derby
Derby’s is ideally situated the centre of the country; the midlands. It is just minutes away from the M1, A38 and A52. Derby Train Station has superb links with locations accross the UK, and has direct services to London’s St Pancras station.
